The Government will give priority to a taxation bill next week.

Leader of the House Gerry Brownlee said in the weekly Business Statement when the House next sat on March 24 it would advance Government bills including the Taxation (KiwiSaver HomeStart and Remedial Matters) Bill and the New Zealand Superannuation and Retirement Income Amendment Bill.

A petition was presented calling on the Government to ask a yes or no question in the first question in the referendum on the New Zealand flag.

The annual report of the Export Education Levy Authority was presented.

Members bills drawn from the ballot this afternoon were introduced”

Fighting Foreign Corporate Control Bill sponsored by Fletcher Tabateau,
Environmental Protection Authority (Protection of Environment) Amendment Bill sponsored by Meka Whaitiri,
New Zealand International Convention Centre Act 2013 Repeal Bill sponsored by Tracey Martin.
