Christchurch Bills To Be Debated

by Desk Editor on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 — 10:35 AM

The House will debate two Christchurch related bills this afternoon, one local and one private.

After Question Time and the General Debate, the second reading debates of the Arts Centre of Christchurch Trust Bill and the Christchurch City Council (Rates Validation) Bill are scheduled to be held.

This will be followed by the committee stage of the Social Security (Clothing Allowances for Orphans and Unsupported Children) Amendment Bill.

If there is time available MPs will turn to the first reading debates of the Underground Coal Mining Safety Bill and the Electoral (Adjustment of Thresholds) Amendment Bill
