Disclosure of MPs’ Expenses Released

Every three months expense claims submitted by members of Parliament are released, with the latest covering the period between April to June 2016.
Expenses administered by the Parliamentary Service

  • Travel expenses for MPs who are not Ministers, under the Speaker’s Directions 2014.
  • Accommodation expenses for MPs who are not Ministers, under the Members of Parliament (Accommodation Services for Members and Travel Services for Family Members and Former Prime Ministers) Determination 2014
  • Travel services for MPs’ family members, under the Members of Parliament (Accommodation Services for Members and Travel Services for Family Members and Former Prime Ministers) Determination 2014

Expenses administered by the Office of the Clerk

  • Payments for travel under the inter-parliamentary relations programme.

Expenses administered by the Ministerial Support unit, Department of Internal Affairs

  • Payments for ministerial travel and accommodation
