When Parliament resumed at 2pm the Government’s response to the report of the Health Committee on the Petition of Christine Cleland, requesting that the House of Representatives ensure that there is ready access to automated external defibrillators and training in all communities and workplaces.

Green MP Keith Locke moved a motion without debate condemning the shootings in Syria and calling for the peaceful passage to democracy, which was passed on a voice vote.
